Hello and welcome!
My name is Marin Cucic, and I'm honored to share a bit more about my journey with you.
I was born in 1973 in the city of Mostar in Yugoslavia, a country that no longer exists. Yugoslavia had a rich tapestry of religious traditions. It was a country where Orthodox Christianity, Catholicism, and Islam coexisted. Growing up I was aware of this diversity, however, since end of the WW2 my country was a socialist and communist and I was though atheism in school and considered my self an atheist.
When I was just 17 years old, war engulfed my country, plunging it into chaos and uncertainty. During those tumultuous times, I found myself seeking refuge in bomb shelters, grappling with the harsh realities of conflict, and ultimately fleeing a besieged town on foot under a gun fire, with nothing but two duffel bags in hand. For two years, I lived as a refugee, navigating the challenges of displacement and longing for a sense of stability and belonging. It was during this time of upheaval that I encountered the transformative power of faith.
Through the guidance of compassionate individuals and the teachings of Christianity, I found solace, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Alongside my journey, I pursued a deeper understanding of the Bible, ultimately obtaining a B.A. in theology. This academic journey deepened my appreciation for the wisdom found in spiritual teachings and reinforced my commitment to sharing this transformative faith with others.
My journey to faith was not without its struggles, but it ultimately became a beacon of light in the midst of darkness. It was a journey of healing, reconciliation, and spiritual awakening—a journey that continues to shape my perspective and inform my work today. Now, as a devoted student of the Bible and a practitioner of its truth, I am committed to offering support, guidance, and hope to those navigating life's challenges. Whether you're grappling with personal struggles, seeking clarity in your relationships, or exploring questions of faith and spirituality, I'm here to walk alongside you.
